Shooting in Raleigh sends man to hospital with serious injuries

Raleigh police said a man was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after he was shot Friday afternoon.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police said a man was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after he was shot Friday afternoon.

The call came in to the 3000 block of Calvary Drive at around 4:13 p.m. Officers arrived and found the man with an undetermined amount of gunshot wounds. He was transported to WakeMed with serious injuries.
