<p>well I am in Robertson County with just an incredible story down here. We've had a chance to interview the sheriff and I want to show you what this story is all about by turning this around here. There was a operation that had gone on here for several months and the Robertson County Sheriff's office has been able to confiscated 99 weapons of all sizes sizes here. This investigation started after them and there was a number of deaths in Robertson County drug related deaths. So in the officer is doing a little research on trying to find what happened there. They stumbled into this individual who was dealing with drugs and weapons. Um, let me show you this right here where we're talking about that. That's a that's a sheriff. He's doing nothing there. That's a Lumberton police badge that he was using. And there was a yeah, this is this is the thing I want to show right here. Let me see that. Right there again. That's a what is that there? That's this right here is what you call a stamp and you stamped envelope and when it goes to the jail and prison at that point is considered legal bills. So therefore the correction officers and tit offices cannot open the mail because of legal. So this allows the male to go to the inmates without being open, which allows drugs, are knives, razor blades in a variety of weapons to enter the jail or prison without being detect, wow. Okay, so and this individual, the suspect in this case had this in his possession. Mm who was also a right yeah we were able to determine that as well. He resigned this morning from his position at the table correctional institute. Look at the variety of these weapons here. Pretty incredible. So there's an effort to get weapons off the street. They've done this. And Bernice Wilkins, the sheriff here, still looking at some of the evidence here and in talking with him, he's he knows that he's saved an awful lot of lives not only by the amount of weapons off taking off but also fentaNYL. That was on the street as well. There's the federal, here's some of the fentaNYL. Hey sheriff, we were talking about that that fentaNYL. What what were the numbers you were talking about in terms of how much you've taken on, how many lives have you saved based on D. E. A. Projections that killed 12,000 people right here That you have what goes through your head when you know that I know you know, we have a problem with that in our county. Were given Narcan everyday. I know we've saved countless lives just by taking that off. What about the guns for you and seeing all this here. Um Well it's an unbelievable catch obviously with in my career I've never seen this many guns taken from one from one location but I'm just glad we were able to get them off the street and in some cases will be able to get stolen guns back to the original owners. This investigation is still ongoing, I'm sure. Oh yeah. It's just early stages. Yeah. Alright, well, sure. We appreciate you. <p>Hi, everyone. Meteorologist Anthony Baglione here on this Friday where we're still looking at some relatively warm temperatures into this afternoon. 83 is where we should hit for a high temperature. Nice and quiet for us until we get later on into late this afternoon into this evening where we're gonna watch the potential for some showers and storms coming through. Not a ton of activity for us as we head later on into tonight. There's a look at rain chances though. They go up to about 50% as we head into that evening time frame. So if you have any plans tonight, if you want to go out and get a Friday evening dinner or something like that, it might be a good idea to a, get the indoor table and then b bring along the reindeer just in case tonight. Here's a look at Future cast. So we time this out looking pretty quiet here the next couple of hours that band back to our west, it should start to weaken as it gets closer to us. It may try and restrengthen them as we get into. Like there's four o'clock you can see on Futurecast 56 o'clock or so, some of those storms could be on the stronger side and then it pushes out of here as we get later on into tonight and then we see maybe a stray shower potential still outline for tomorrow morning. Here's a look at our severe potential today. Level one out of five for most of the viewing area. What this is saying is there could be some isolated pockets where we get some stronger storms. It looks like the best chances for that would be west of us. But gusty winds would be our primary threat as we get into this evening. 78 is where we go for our Saturday. A huge temperature swing there into Sunday at 59 scattered showers are gonna be likely though, especially Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening, they do start to taper off though late Sunday night. So for the Tar Heel 10 miler, that's tomorrow morning, we are proud partners of that. We're going to see temperatures in the sixties for the majority of the forecast there. A stray showers possible, but most of the morning is looking just fine for that event. Tomorrow. We head over the next seven. We go from 83 today all the way down to 59 on Sunday. A rebound of 66 on Monday and then a nice week next week attempts in the seventies, even a few upper sixties there Thursday looking pretty quiet after we get some rainfall there to close out our weekend.</p>
