Sheriff's office: Father drove from VA to NC to confront his daughter's boyfriend, then killed him
A father drove across state lines to confront his daughter's boyfriend, according to the Onslow County Sheriff's Office. The two got into a fight, and the father ended up killing his daughter's boyfriend in a mobile home park on Hubert Boulevard near Hubert, North Carolina.

27-year-old Jared Musgrove was found by emergency responders suffering from two gunshot wounds at a mobile home park on Hubert Boulevard near Hubert, North Carolina. He was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.
The sheriff's office said James Patrick McAlee, 46, and Musgrove had engaged in a physical fight before the shooting.
McAlee drove from Alexandria, Virginia, to Onslow County, North Carolina, to confront Musgrove about a relationship he had with McAlee's adult daughter, the sheriff's office found during their investigation.
After the fight was over, the sheriff's office said McAlee grabbed a gun from his truck and shot Musgrove.
McAlee was arrested on Monday by the U.S. Marshals Service with the help of the Onslow County Sheriff's Office detectives.
The Virginia man was charged with murder and is being held at the Onslow County Detention Center without bond.
