Sheriff's detectives search for alleged gang member in Fayetteville

Cumberland County sheriff's detectives are searching for an alleged gang member wanted in connection with car thefts.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County sheriff’s detectives are searching for an alleged gang member wanted in connection with car thefts.

Jermaine-Abdull Bean, 26, of 6522 Tabor Church Road, is accused of a crime spree that began last month after a vehicle was stolen from a downtown parking lot. Detectives say they think Bean is responsible for other related thefts in the area.

Investigators say Bean is armed and dangerous, and a known gang associate. If you see Bean, you are urged not to approach him.
