<b>ANGIER, N.C.</b> — The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a murder-suicide after a man found his teenage son and a young woman dead inside his home Monday evening.

Deputies said two 14-year-olds, who were not identified, were found inside a home at 206 Clayton Road, near Angier, after somebody called 911.

Due to the age of the teens, authorities said, their names will not be released.

Authorities did not release an official cause of death for the teens but referred to the case as a shooting investigation.

Deputies said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
