Sheriff: Burlington woman charged for stealing two cars in eight days

A woman who is believed to have stolen two cars in a little over the span of a week has been charged.

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A woman who is believed to have stolen two cars in a little over the span of a week has been charged.

A man told deputies that a woman he met online, Kristina White, was the possible suspect of a recent car theft. The victim said his vehicle was taken on January 20 and later found abandoned in Burlington. The victim also said that some items had been taken from inside the car.

Police identified White, 22, as the suspect and she was charged with one count of felony larceny of a motor vehicle and one count of felony larceny.

White was previously arrested by deputies for vehicle larceny which occurred on January 28.

White was served with the second warrant after Graham police brought her in on other charges.
