Sex offender held on $500,000 bond
Orange County sheriff's deputies arrested George Buckner Carr, 63, of 125 Court St., on a warrant from Wake County.

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — A registered sex offender from Hillsborough was jailed last Friday on charges of indecent liberties with a child stemming from an incident in a Raleigh Goodwill store, authorities said.
Orange County sheriff's deputies arrested George Buckner Carr, 63, of 125 Court St., on a warrant from Wake County.
Raleigh police spokesman Jim Sughrue said the crime occurred in March when Carr was spotted following a child through the store while exposing himself.
Carr's criminal record shows similar charges for incidents in 2003 and 2007. He was being held on $500,000 bond.
