Seven hurt in Rocky Mount school bus crash
Two students were treated for minor injuries after the bus they were riding in was hit by a car Tuesday in Rocky Mount, police said.
Posted — UpdatedROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Two students were treated for minor injuries after the bus they were riding in was hit by a car Tuesday in Rocky Mount, police said.
The occupants of the car – three adults and two children – also were taken to Nash General hospital with non-life-threatening injuries in the 3:40 p.m. crash.
Rocky Mount police said the car’s driver lost control and slid into the path of the bus in the 900 block of Jeffreys Road, near Jeffreys Court. The bus driver and 26 other students were unhurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
