According to the Raleigh Battalion Chief Chris Wilson, The call came in just after 5 p.m.

There were people at the home when the fire started and all got out safe.

The fire took 20 minutes to bring under control and caused severe damage to the frond and second story of the house.

The vinyl siding was also damaged on both sides of the home.
