— Services are planned Oct. 18 for a Johnston county woman who was found dead in her home Wednesday, family members said.

Deputies found Annie Bynum, 68, dead in her house in the 5800 block of Meadowbrook Road after she had failed to show up for her Tuesday overnight shift at the Day by Day Treatment Canter in Selma. Authorities have not said how she died.

Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the Western Assembly Building in Newton Grove. Funeral services will follow at the same location, Bynum's niece, Carolyn Harding, said Friday.

One of Bynum’s sons, Edward Bynum, is in the process of setting up a memorial fund.

Bynum’s other son, Tony Bynum, 42, has been charged in her death
