Serial bank robber strikes again

Fayetteville, N.C. — Police say a man wanted in the robbery of a Fayetteville bank three weeks ago also robbed a bank in western North Carolina on Wednesday.
The robber is believed to have held up six banks across North and South Carolina since mid-May, with a First Citizens Bank branch in Hendersonville his latest target, police said.
Police said the man robbed the Lumbee Guaranty Bank branch at 6313 Raeford Road in Fayetteville on July 6. He also is linked to bank robberies in Fletcher and Edenton and in Forrest Acres and Mount Pleasant, S.C.
The robber is described as a white man between 5 feet, 8 inches and 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He has close-cropped brown hair and tattoos on both arms. He is believed to be driving a black Ford Bronco II.
