A group of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seniors are trying to undo what they say is a senior prank gone wrong.

District officials said students vandalized the Myers Park High School campus earlier this week and the students responsible were disciplined according to the code of conduct.

Many students say it was all in good fun part of a senior prank.

“I believe this is truly the work of a very small group of people,” said Molly Adams, a Myers Park senior.

Several seniors started a GoFundMe page to raise money for the custodians who worked quickly to clean up the damage. The page has so far raised more than $5,000.
