Selma selected as finalist for Strong Town Contest
The town of Selma is proud to announce it's been named a finalist in the 2023 Strongest Town Contest.

The Strong Towns organization is looking for towns and cities with dedicated citizens and local leaders working together to overcome challenges.
The application was submitted by Activate Selma, a grass roots organization of local business owners, residents and stakeholders who champion Selma.
The organization said it feels the town of Selma is the perfect example of a "Strong Town."
Selma will be competing in a March Madness bracket-style competition. The community will submit written prompts that focus on various topics to decide who will make it into the top 16.
The contest will progress with additional rounds until the winner is finally announced on April 14.
Voting opens on March 20, and everyone is encouraged to go to the Strong Towns website at www.strongtowns.org to vote through March 23.
