Selma, N.C. — State troopers responded to a multiple-vehicle wreck along Buffalo Road, north of Selma, Sunday morning.
Alberto Botorquez, 31, of Selma, crossed the center line at 6300 Buffalo Road, near Live Oak Church Road, shortly before 8:30 a.m., troopers said. His truck hit a vehicle traveling in the south bound lane, and then a third car collided with the second.
The three drivers and two passengers were taken to Johnston Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Botorquez was released from the hospital with minor scratches, and charged with driving while impaired and careless driving, troopers said.
