Selma house catches fire
Firefighters were on the scene of a house fire in Selma on Sunday evening, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said.
Posted — UpdatedSELMA, N.C. — Firefighters were on the scene of a house fire in Selma on Sunday evening, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said.
The fire was reported just before 7 p.m. at 115 Trail End Lane.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
Steve Haloman, with the Pine Level Fire Department, said investigators believe the fire was caused by an electrical malfunction. An investigation is ongoing.
Haloman said Sunday's fire did not appear to be suspicious.
