See me at the Southern Women's Show!

Posted April 24, 2012 8:11 p.m. EDT

It's Southern Women's Show time again. And, as usual, I'll be hanging out with Faye Prosser, the WRAL Smart Shopper, this year.

The show runs Friday to Sunday in the Jim Graham and Expo buildings at the N.C. State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. It features a variety of businesses, workshops and lots of opportunities to shop.

I'll be there from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. I will be in a booth next to the WRAL-TV space right near the entrance into the Expo Building.

If you're a couponer or just starting to coupon, you won't want to miss Faye, who has three workshops scheduled.

She'll offer a Couponing 101 program at 11:30 a.m., Friday and Saturday, on the Balance Your Life Stage. At 11:30 a.m., Sunday, find Faye and Lisa Shively on the Cooking Stage with a class called "Let's Bake a Deal."

Also, Mix 101.5's Lynda Loveland will be on the Balance Your Life Stage at 4:30 p.m., Friday for Pick Your Purse Bingo. Vanna Fox will be there at 4:30 p.m., Saturday; Jami Caskey at 12:30 p.m., Sunday.

WRAL reporter and weekend anchor Sloane Heffernan will compete in the annual "Dancing Like the Stars" competition on Saturday.

And Lori Verni-Fogarsi, a Holly Springs mom and author who I featured in March, will talk about her book "Momnesia" and how to balance "momminess" and sexiness. She'll be on the Balance Your Life Stage at 3:30 p.m., Sunday.

Tickets are on sale now. They're $9 in advance and $10 at the door for adults; $5 for kids ages 6 to 12.

To buy tickets and for much more information, go to the show's website. Be sure to stop by and say hi if you're there Saturday or Sunday morning!
