RALEIGH, N.C. — Students, faculty and staff at Peace College are trying to make their campus safer after a rash of vehicle break-ins and an armed robbery.

Groups met Wednesday evening with campus security to do a walk-through of the grounds in an effort to improve safety protocols.

Feedback from the walk through will be included in a proposal to be reviewed by the Peace Student Government Association. The proposal will also be presented to school administrators.

Several security measures are already in place at the school, including a 24-hour police presence, security cameras and sign-in logs and card readers at buildings.
