If you know anything about me, you know that I'm a big children's consignment sale shopper.

So I'm always slightly giddy this time of year as I make plans for what I'm going to sell and (let me be truthful here) what I'm going to buy.

The 2010 fall/winter sale season is about to start and will run through about mid-October. There are nearly 30 sales on the list (and I always add one or two more a season). So there are plenty of places to score some great deals on clothes, gear and toys for your kids. It's the fall/winter season because you'll find clothes appropriate for those months.

The sales are pretty much all run by local moms and are typically held at empty storefronts, churches and community buildings. And there's still plenty of time to sign up to sell at most of them.

The list includes the public sale dates, whether maternity clothes are offered and other details (like whether the sale offers only high-end boutique children's clothing).

Some sales have not fleshed out the details yet for this season's sale, so stay tuned for regular updates.
