FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police kept searching Thursday for a 19-year-old man who disappeared this past weekend under what authorities described as suspicious circumstances.

Fashaad Montez Lee was reported missing Sunday by his grandfather.

Police said Lee was last seen at his home on Westdale Drive around noon Saturday after a visit by a "suspicious" man calling himself John.

The suspicious man was described as black, 5 feet 8 inches tall, approximately 170 pounds. He was wearing a do-rag on his head and driving a green Subaru or Isuzu SUV.

Police said they are following up on several leads but would still like to speak with anyone who had contact with Lee last Friday or Saturday.

Anyone with information about Lee or "John" was asked to call police Detective James Walker at 910-433-1856 or 910-433-1529 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477. Callers to Crime Stoppers never have to give their names.
