CAMERON, N.C. — A Sanford woman was arrested and is facing drug-related charges after a traffic stop in Harnett County.

Deputies with the Harnett County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle driven by Tazchae Medley, 28, of Sanford, on NC Hwy. 87 in Cameron just after midnight Wednesday. When she was unable to provide a driver's license, deputies did a records check and found there was an order for her arrest in Lee County.

Deputies found a small bag of marijuana and, after searching the vehicle, located 260 grams of cocaine valued at $52,000. She was charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine, a count of drug paraphernalia and other traffic offenses.

She was held in the Harnett County Detention Center under a $350,000 secured bond.
