Sanford police investigate shooting

Police said a man was shot and killed at 211 N. 2nd St. in Sanford on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009.

Sanford, N.C. — Sanford police were investigating a fatal shooting Saturday morning.

Capt. David Smith said a young man, whom he did not identify, was killed at 211 N. 2nd St.

Officers were searching the home for clues but did not release any other information about the victim or the crime.
