Thomas was wanted in South Carolina. He was charged with being a fugitive of justice and was jailed in the Chatham County Detention Center under a $7000 secure bond.  <br />

He is awaiting extradition to South Carolina to face fraud and larceny charges.

Mykia Daniel, an eighth grader at Ligon Middle School, was shot and killed on Monday in a north Raleigh apartment. A 16-year-old was charged with her murder.
