NC Senate plans vote to delay primary elections to June due to ongoing court challenges, uncertainty over to district maps — State Senate Republicans are planning to vote to delay state primaries again, citing concerns over the North Carolina Supreme Court case over redistricting. "The redistricting case schedule adopted by the state Supreme Court provides as little as 12 days for the court to decide on a lengthy and complex redistricting case, write a decision, and for the legislature to draw new districts if the Supreme Court strikes down the current one," according to a statement from Senate Republicans.
