I love to dance and teach dance education to the youth. I also enjoy reading, volunteerism, pageantry and advocating for Autism Awareness.

Family:

My mom, younger brother, younger sister and grandparents are back home in South Louisiana. We have a very close knit-family who are my biggest motivation to succeed.

Likes Best About North Carolina:

It is a true melting pot of people and culture. I also love the great weather, the mountains and food scene.

Most Memorable Assignments:

Covering a string of arsons on three historic churches in Louisiana and the road to recovery for the communities involved. This event drew national attention that helped raise funds and rebuild the churches. I will always remember my coverage on the deep rich traditions of Mardi Gras for the past four years in Louisiana. Also, telling the stories of those impacted by Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
