Rocky Mount Police Search for Shooting Suspects

Rocky Mount — Rocky Mount police are looking for two suspects in a shooting that happened on Raleigh Road just after 11 p.m. Saturday night.
Dennis Dickens, 26, and Rashunna Parker, also 26, were shot while they sat in a gold Toyota sedan, according to police. Dickens was shot three times - in the neck, shoulder and rear end. Parker was shot once in her side.
Investigators said it appeared to be a robbery attempt.
Dickens and Parker were transported to Nash General for treatment. Their injuries are not life threatening, police said.
