Edgecombe County, N.C. — Rocky Mount police made an arrest Tuesday in a shooting that happened more than a year ago.
Caleb Wardrett, 29, was being held under a $150,000 bond on charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Police said Wardrett fired the seven shots that injured Tyrone Arrington, 37, on Dec. 4, 2008.
New information in the case led to Wardrett’s arrest, police said.
