Rocky Mount police investigating after one found with gunshot wound

Police said a man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Officials said the person was shot on Hill Street sometime before 6 p.m. then made their way to the next intersection, where they were found.

Police found multiple shell casings in the street. No further information was available as detectives continued to investigate the scene.
