Rocky Mount man sentenced to life in prison after 2018 homicide

Rocky Mount, N.C. — A Rocky Man was sentenced to spend life in prison on Friday after the 2018 homicide of Antwon Chisley.
On Friday, Sherrod Donte Joyner was found guilty of first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon in Nash County Superior Court. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Chrisley, 38, was found dead on Saturday, June 30, 2018 in the 100 block of Sullivan Lane.
