Rocky Mount authorities search for teen

Rocky Mount, N.C. — Authorities in Rocky Mount are looking for a missing teenager.

Police said Augustus Pennock, 17, was last seen at 5 p.m. Wednesday near his parents’ home on Green Tee Lane.

Pennock is described as 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing brown pants, cowboy boots, sunglasses and a shirt.

Pennock is believed to be carrying a guitar and its case and a grey and brown camouflage backpack. The guitar case has the phrase “this machine kills fashion” written on it.
