Rock Quarry Road near I-440 closed

Raleigh, N.C. — Rock Quarry Road was closed in both directions near the Interstate 440 and Interstate 40 split early Thursday.
Authorities were working to replace a tower pole that was hit by a driver Wednesday night.
Traffic lights were knocked down as the pole fell.
Police estimated the road could be closed as late as 8:30 a.m.
