Robeson County man facing numerous drug-related charges

A Robeson County man is facing multiple drug-related charges after a search warrant was executed at his home on Thursday.

ROWLAND, N.C. — A Robeson County man is facing multiple drug-related charges after a search warrant was executed at his home on Thursday.

A search warrant was executed at 1056 Henry Berry Road in Rowland. Officials with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Community Impact Team, Drug Enforcement Division Investigators and SWAT Team Operators found a quantity of cocaine, prescription pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and four firearms.

Michael Anthony Locklear, 38, was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, trafficking opium or heroin, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of ½ or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Robeson County Detention Center under a $500,000 secured bond.
