— Department of Correction officials are searching for a Robeson Correctional Center inmate who was on the loose Thursday night.

Rodney Nealy, a minimum-custody inmate, was on work release as an electrical engineer when he drove away in a light blue Ford Econoline van with North Carolina plates YSX-3275.

He has been missing since about 6:30 p.m., according to DOC spokesman Keith Acree.

Nealy was serving six-to-seven years for a string of financial crimes, including forgery and larceny.

Anyone who has seen Nealy or the van he was driving should call local law enforcement or the Robeson Correctional Center at 910-618-5535.
