Robber Locks Workers in Freezer
A man who robbed a Goldsboro restaurant over the weekend locked several employees in a freezer before fleeing, police said.
Posted — UpdatedA man went into the Wendy’s on Wayne Memorial Drive at about 7:20 a.m. Saturday holding what appeared to be a handgun. After demanding money, the man locked the employees in the restaurant's walk-in freezer, police said.
The man was described as black, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, between 150 and 170 pounds and wearing a dark brown jacket. His face was partially covered, but the employees said he had very light brown eyes.
