Roanoke Rapids man arrested in shooting

Dudley Lamar Kee, 24, was arrested in the Fayetteville area as a result of a tip from an anonymous source.

ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. — A Roanoke Rapids man was arrested Friday in connection with a shooting that happened on N.C. Highway 48 on Wednesday, the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said.

Dudley Lamar Kee, 24, was arrested in the Fayetteville area as a result of a tip from an anonymous source.

He was wanted for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Kee was placed at the Halifax County Jail. His bond was set at $50,000 and his next court date was scheduled for Monday.
