Reward offered for rape suspect
A $1,000 reward has been offered for information that leads to the arrest of a 26-year-old man wanted for sexual offenses involving a 14-year-old Fayetteville girl.

Detectives have charged Preston Dennard Davis, 26, with two counts of statutory sexual offense and one count each of statutory rape and taking indecent liberties with a minor.
Davis has ties to the Lumberton area and also goes by the name "Crimez."
The state Department of Correction lists Davis as an absconder from parole. He was convicted in 2006 of drug possession with intent to sell and receiving or possessing a firearm.
Anyone with information about Davis' whereabouts should call Fayetteville police at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477. Callers to Crime Stoppers never have to identify themselves.
