Here are a few programs and services that the U.S. Military is offering to help the ease the burden of our active-duty service members and their families.
Army community services
- Army Emergency Relief provides grants and interest-free loans to active duty and retired solider and their families
- The Solider and family readiness group Mobilization, Deployment and Stability Support Operations assists in supporting community readiness during all phases of deployment and emergencies
- Military and Family Life Counselors assist service members and their families aim to enhance operational family readiness
- 16 hours of free childcare per month per each child for families of deployed soldiers. For more information, call 910-396-8110
