— Derek Scott Anderson, 24, of Sarasota Drive in Fayetteville died of injuries sustained in a car wreck Friday.

Police responded to a report of a traffic accident in the parking lot of 3833 Ramsey Street just before 7:30 p.m. to find Anderson's Honda Civic had hit a pole. A preliminary investigation suggested that Anderson was traveling at high speed.
