Report: Sandra Bullock creating drama about her time at ECU

GREENVILLE, N.C. — Sandra Bullock is producing a new show about her time as a college student in North Carolina in the 1980s, according to Hollywood Reporter.

Bullock attended East Carolina University in Greenville after graduating from high school in 1982, according to IMDB. The new "dramedy," produced through Amazon, will "focus on a darkly offbeat young woman who defies expectations and sets out in search of love, community and, most importantly, an identity of her own," according to Hollywood Reporter.

Bullock, known for her roles in "Miss Congeniality," "The Blind Side," "The Heat," "Oceans 8" and more, has produced in the past. Her most recent work was "Bird Box," which drew an average of nearly 4 million viewers a day in the U.S. in its first 10 days.
