There is a 40 to 50 percent chance of rain and storms on Saturday and Sunday in Raleigh, according to Wilmoth, which the majority of the activity likely in the afternoon. There is only a 20 percent chance for rain on Friday.

With milder temperatures on tap, it will be a great weekend for walks, outdoor exercise, grilling out and more.
