Recently learned that A Sea of Learning store in Durham's Northgate Mall is bringing back its popular weekly storytime.

When the store, which features toys and other educational products, consolidated its two locations into one at Northgate in January, Terri Morley, one of the owners, was looking for a way and a space to hold the popular program. They figured it out.

The storytimes will be inside the Chick-fil-A at Northgate at 10 a.m. Thursdays starting this Thursday. The 20-minute program will feature songs, crafts, fingerplays and more. Kids ages 2 to 4 typically attend so it's geared toward children that age.

There will now be a $3 fee per child for the program, which also includes a balloon, 20 percent off your entire purchase at A Sea of Learning (good that day only), a refreshment and a ride on the adventure station train at Northgate. So you're getting your money's worth.

Registration isn't required, but appreciated so they can plan for crafts and refreshments. Call 919-361-2525 to register.

This Thursday's theme is Ten Wriggly, Wiggly Caterpillars.

Here's more on A Sea of Learning and Northgate Mall, which also features a carousel.
