Registration for youth and adult sports programs from Raleigh Parks and Recreation begins Monday.
Prior to the pandemic, local parents may remember the high demand for Fall sports and youth programming.
With these programs returning, the city hopes to see a similar amount of participation as it has in years past.
Starting Monday, parents can register children for baseball, softball, flag football, and cheerleading.
The Parks and Recreation department says they hope to see a substantial increase this year – versus the few teams they had last fall.
Safely guidelines are still being followed: Games are outdoors, and times are spaced out to avoid crowding.
The city says safety continues to be the priority, and that they could use more volunteers to help coach this upcoming season.
