ROLLING FORK, Miss. (AP) — Powerful tornadoes tore through parts of the Deep South on Friday night, killing at least 23 people in Mississippi, obliterating dozens of buildings and leaving an especially devastating mark on a rural town whose mayor declared, “My city is gone.”

The Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform tonight in Raleigh – nearly three months after postponing the start of the North American leg of their "I'm With You" World Tour. 

RHCP were <a href="https://www.wral.com/entertainment/out_and_about/blogpost/10588052/">supposed to start the tour</a> in January with dates in Charlotte, Raleigh and Greensboro, but lead singer Anthony Kiedis injured his foot, requiring surgery.

Tickets are still available for <strong>tonight's show at the PNC Arena in Raleigh. </strong>The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
