Recipe: Cook a whole cauliflower in your slow cooker
When I make cauliflower, I love to roast it with a little olive oil, salt and pepper. But as the temperatures (hopefully) warm up, I don't love turning on my oven. And that's why I love this alternative for cooking cauliflower. It's so easy - and it's absolutely delicious.

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Put the whole cauliflower in your slow cooker.
Mix together the garlic, melted butter, sage and lemon zest in a bowl. Pour it on top of the cauliflower and pat it down.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Pour lemon juice around the cauliflower, not on top of it.
Pour the Parmesan cheese on top of the cauliflower. (Yes, it will look like you have way too much cheese on top, but it makes it so yummy.)
Cover and cook for about 3 hours on high or 4.5 hours on low. Once it's done, remove the cauliflower and let it cool a bit. Add the parsley to the juices in the slow cooker and give it a stir.
Cut up the cauliflower into florets or chunks and pour the liquid over the pieces. Serve it up.
