The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall Tuesday of about 21,000 toy drums made by Step2.

The Step2 Basic Rhythms Drums were sold at Toys "R" Us, Burlington Coat Factory and other retail stores from August to March for between $10 and $15. The plastic clips used to attach the drumsticks to the drum can break. The small broken pieces are a choking hazard for young kids. The toys is intended for preschoolers.

Step2 is offering a replacement toy. Click here for details.
