Recall: Chef BOYARDEE rice with chicken & vegetables

Conagra Brands, Inc., has recalled canned microwavable bowls of Chef BOYARDEE rice with chicken & vegetables due to misbranding and undeclared allergens (milk and wheat), according to the USDA. Apparently the products actually contain beef ravioli products, not chicken and rice. They were shipped to Florida, Kentucky and New York.

Conagra Brands, Inc., has recalled canned microwavable bowls of Chef BOYARDEE rice with chicken & vegetables due to misbranding and undeclared allergens (milk and wheat), according to the USDA.

Apparently the products actually contain beef ravioli products, not chicken and rice. They were sold at retail locations in Florida, Kentucky and New York

The recall notice indicates that the recalled product includes:

7.5 oz. canned microwavable bowls of “Chef BOYARDEE rice with chicken & vegetables” on the label, and a package code of 210090151050045L, and ‘BEST BY’ date of Jul082020 on the bottom of the bowl.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 794” on the bottom of the bowl.

If you have this product, do not eat it. You can throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
