MORRISVILLE, N.C. — A Raleigh-Durham International Airport employee lost his job and faces a $150,000 bond on charges he took photos up the skirts of women, posted them on the internet and sold them.

Brennan Stevenson, 30, of 6645 Perry Creek Road in Raleigh, was arrested Wednesday by Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority law enforcement. He faces 36 felony charges, including secret peeping, disseminating images obtained from secret peeping and possessing photographic images from secret peeping.

As a result, he was fired from his position and is not allowed on airport property.

A traveler at the airport on Thursday said the report of the arrest "makes you not want to go out anywhere."

Officials said in a statement from the airport that RDU law enforcement "took swift action to identify and arrest the suspect after receiving a tip about potential illegal activity at the airport." The incidents date to May 2019.

According to his social media profiles, Stevenson was a contract compliance officer for the airport and had previously worked for United Airlines.

In a hearing Thursday afternoon, Stevenson's attorney, Bill Young, made the point that none of his images contained nudity and none were of any underage victims.

Stevenson's next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 20. If convicted, he faces up to 39 years in prison.
