A special event at the RBC Center on Thursday is expected to clogs roads around the arena, state transportations officials said.
Congestion will affect Wade Avenue, Edwards Mill Road, Trinity Road, and Interstates 40 440.
The congestion is expected to occur from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and again from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Motorists not attending the event should expect lengthy delays. They are advised to take alternate routes to avoid the area.
