Raleigh woman facing child abuse charge
A Raleigh woman is accused of refusing to allow her four children inside the house.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh woman is accused of refusing to allow her four children inside the house.
Susanne Marie Boone was charged Friday evening with misdemeanor child abuse.
Police said even when they arrived at the residence, Boone refused to allow the boys inside. The boys also didn’t have anything to drink while outside in the heat, police said.
Boone was arrested and a relative picked up the children.
The boys – ages eight, six, four and three – were not injured.
Boone was released Sunday on a $1,000 bond.
The Department of Social Services was also notified of the incident.
