Raleigh woman accused of embezzlement

Authorities said Teodora Hernandez-Perez, 31, of Lot 90 at 3000 Stoneybrook Drive, unlawfully and feloniously did fraudulently misapply and convert to her own use money and lottery tickets belonging to Circle K, according to arrest warrants.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh woman faces embezzlement charges involving money and lottery tickets.

Authorities said Teodora Hernandez-Perez, 31, of Lot 90 at 3000 Stoneybrook Drive, unlawfully and feloniously did fraudulently misapply and convert to her own use money and lottery tickets belonging to Circle K, according to arrest warrants.

Hernandez-Perez was an employee at the Circle K, 5009 Fayetteville Road in Raleigh. The offenses allegedly took place between July 20 and Aug. 14, 2009.

Hernandez-Perez was being held under a $5,000 bond at the Wake County Jail on Saturday.
