RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh spa is offering an incentive for people to stay socially distant.
Blue Water Spa is offering a gift card to people pledging to practice social distancing. The pledge needs to be made on the spa's Facebook or Instagram pages, or on the Michael Law MD Facebook or Instagram pages. Those taking the pledge will get a gift card to be used for a complimentary Photomodulation LED Skin Rejuvenating Treatment or $25 off a spa, laser, botox, Emsculpt or CoolSculpting service.

In addition to that, the spa is offering people a chance to gift a spa service to a frontline healthcare worker. For every $75 gift card purchased in April, Blue Water Spa is providing a complimentary service to a healthcare worker treating COVID-19 patients.

"Then, that person who purchases will get an extra $10 themselves for every $75 they spend," Blue Water spokesperson Kile Law said.

So far, more than 200 services have been donated. Law said the company is able to give away as many as 700 services to healthcare workers.
